In the last blog, I wrote about general questions you need to ask before finding the best implant dentist near your home. Even if you are considering traveling overseas to save on the cost of dental treatment, you must ask great probing questions.
As discussed previously, dentistry has become a complex profession, and the more money you are planning to invest in your mouth more questions you must ask.
Why do I need to learn what 34 questions to ask when searching for the best implant dentist?
Answer: Because not all implant dentists are the same.
I designed these questions because I am an implant and reconstructive dentist for over 30 years, training and educating hundreds of dentists worldwide. I know these questions are essential as not all dentists are not the same, and they all have different clinical skills. An implant dentist may be great at placing and restoring a single dental implant; however, if you need more implants such as All on 4, All on 6, or All on 8, the rules of the game change.
A dentist with experience in multiple dental implant placement must acquire more knowledge in occlusion areas ( dental bite ) and esthetics. Also, the dentist must be competent in inpatient management skills such as time- management, sedation, and extensive experience leading a team of dentists, dental technicians, and dental nurses. I like to use the analogy often compares a single-family home builder to developers who build single-family home communities; both requiring different skill sets.
I like to share some important questions in today’s blog when searching for the best or top implant dentist or on the internet. Once you land on an excellent marketing page, do not just stop there.
