We, at LQ Dental, are a fully-equipped Dental Centre that provides comprehensive dental healthcare.

Our clinic has been established since 1990, starting out as “Johnny Lee Hinly Lau Dental Surgeons” and beginning within the Raffles Place district. At that time, we had a team of 4 Dental Surgeons. We currently have 6 General Dental Practitioners, with 2 consultant Oral Surgeons on our team. We are looking to further grow the practice to have more dental surgeons for serving your dental needs.

We pride ourselves on being patient-orientated in our service and are now located at Novena Medical Center within Square 2, as part of our ongoing commitment to upgrading ourselves and providing the best facilities possible for our patients. Our focus has always been on treating the patient and not just the tooth.

We are equipped with a full array of cutting edge digital technology, to ensure that our patients receive the most up-to-date treatment methodologies.

We perform most aspects of dentistry and our focus is mainly on: Dental Implants, Orthodontics, Aesthetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Preventive Care, Endodontics and Gum Treatment.

LQ Quality Assurance

We, at LQ DENTAL, value the trust you have placed in our service and treatments. It is with utmost thanks that we are able to provide for you the quality that we are proud of.

As such, we are happy to extend a “LQ Quality Assurance” for certain procedures done at LQ Dental.

Some terms and conditions may apply because we appreciate that a patient’s involvement in Oral Health is just as important! It is with a mutual commitment that we earnestly continue to protect the investment you have made to your dental health!

Implant 10 Year LQ Assurance

• Entire implant process has been done at LQ Dental

• LQ Assurance may be void if additional procedures (eg. bone grafting) has been recommended but not consented to being carried out, which can compromise the success of the case

Crown and Bridge 5 Year LQ Assurance

• This LQ Assurance will encompass any breakages or dislodgements under normal function.

• The LQ Assurance will not cover the breakage of a tooth underneath should the tooth be weakened or cracked initially.

• Root canal treatments after the provision of the crown are not covered.

• The new crown/bridge will be included as part of LQ Assurance if Root Canal Treatment is needed during the period of the LQ Assurance.

Porcelain Veneer 5 Year LQ Assurance

A porcelain veneer is a conservative procedure.Any excessive forces that have been identified (eg. tooth grinding or clenching) would have needed a protective device worn.LQ Assurance is void if the device is not worn.Should there be breakages under function even when the device is worn, a crown will be provided within the LQ Assurance period.

Invisalign Comprehensive 5 Year LQ Assurance

Only valid for INVISALIGN COMPREHENSIVE treatment, which commences at start of treatment.Treatment is deemed complete when agreed upon by both parties and retainers are made.Additional refinements made this (eg. relapse when retainers are not worn) will incur an administrative fee of $300 (before GST) for refinements within the... 

Ceramic Inlay/Onlay & Overlay 5 Year LQ Assurance

These are conservative procedures. Any excessive forces that have been identified (eg. tooth grinding or clenching) would have needed a protective device worn. The LQ Assurance is void if the device is not worn. Should there be breakages under function even when the device is worn, a crown will be provided within the LQ Assurance period.

Dentures 3 Year LQ Assurance

These will not cover breakage of clasps under function

Denture adjustments will be covered

Breakage of denture when dropped is not covered

Dentures have to be maintained as prescribed by the LQ Dentist

LIMITED LQ QUALITY ASSURANCE Terms and Conditions

Cost of travel, accommodation and consequential losses incurred is not covered by this LQ Assurance.It does not cover routine scheduled work to be carried out as part of schedule maintenance.

Possible situations that may lead to a void of the LQ Quality Assurance:

1. Recommended hygiene visits are missed. These are usually carried out every 6 months but may be sooner if the gum conditions need more attention.

2. Dentist instructions are not followed (eg. Not using Nightguard)

3. Gum or bone level is receding and no gum treatment has been carried out even when advised by dentist or Hygiene Therapist

4. Unforeseen infection from other teeth or other causes

5. Accidental trauma to the face and head area resulting in damage of teeth or restorations.

6. Oral Hygiene has been neglected by the patient.

7. If failure is due to abuse by the patient (Eg, but not limited to, Biting hard objects, chewing ice, cracking nut shells or crab shells etc)

8. Remedial work was done at another clinic without prior acknowledgement and approval from LQ Dental.

9. Medical conditions leading to negative effects on the dental situation (eg. Smoking, Diabetes or Osteoporosis etc)

10. Any previously identified conditions that may arise in a likely failure of the restoration.
