Pure NZ Dental was created back in 2014 when Dr Justin and his wife migrated to Singapore from New Zealand and with them came the idea to bring Kiwi hospitality to the sunny island of Singapore.

RCT is a dental procedure used to treat and preserve teeth with badly infected roots. The pulp is the live portion of the tooth that extends into the root and contains nerve endings and tissues. When our patients in Singapore come in with toothache and swelling, it’s usually because the tooth has become infected. Our dentists will examine and determine if the tooth is able to be saved and if it is, they would usually recommend an RCT. When diagnosis indicates the need for a root canal treatment, our first priority is our patients' peace of mind.

Tooth extractions are routine dental procedures used to remove decayed, damaged and problematic teeth that our dentists deemed are not salvageable anymore. Our dentists at Pure NZ Dental will always make every effort to preserve natural teeth but sometimes extraction may be the only way. Depending on which teeth are extracted, they may be replaced with a dental implant, bridge or denture.

Here at Pure NZ Dental, our senior dentists are also skilled to remove impacted teeth especially wisdom teeth.

Your visit to Pure NZ Dental will be safe, relaxed, painless and comfortable. Sedation dentistry is the answer to all your concerns. We offer 3 options:

• Oral Sedation – Meds prescribed prior to treatment to alleviate anxiety and help patients relax

• Happy Gas or Nitrous Oxide – This gas offers a nice, happy and comfortable feeling that makes you feel very relaxed and at ease. Apparently some patients describe it as having too much to drink and feeling very happy-go-lucky during the entire dental treatment.

• IV Sedation – This is a deeper conscious sedation reserved for patients who want little or no memory of their dental visits. We will arrange for a visiting anaesthetist to come to our dental clinic to administer the IV Sedation safely in our practice.

Unfortunately dental emergencies don't run on a schedule, and our team understands that. If we have a family member who tells us they are in pain and need us right away, we will definitely make time for them. When these problems arise, we will make the time for you by staying late, shifting appointments and focusing on getting you out of pain! No worries!
