IMPLANT
HOW LONG WILL THE IMPLANT LAST?
Implants require the same amount of care as a natural tooth. With proper care and a regular oral hygiene routine, your dental implants should last a lifetime.
DO I NEED TO BE PUT UNDER ANAESTHESIA FOR THE PROCEDURE?
No. Dental implants can be fitted to the patient by using a local anaesthetic or through “sleep dentistry”.
Sleep dentistry involves the use of IV Sedation. Sleep dentistry can help alleviate the anxiety often experienced by people when visiting the dentist. It is also a safer option than any general anaesthetic. Your sedation is managed by a professional medical doctor who monitors your condition during the implant procedure to ensure the highest levels of safety and comfort.
Best of all, sleep dentistry does not require hospitalisation, this means that your implant procedure can be done right here at Pasadena dental & Implant centre.
WHAT ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS MADE OF?
Dental implants are made up of variate biomaterials, However, titanium is the most commonly used material as its the most compatible with human biology.
Snoring
WHAT IS SNORING?
Snoring is caused by relaxation and vibration of the muscles of the soft palate and uvula. This happens when breathing through the notes or open mouth. The relaxed tissue causes vibrations as air moves across it creating the noise commonly referred to as snoring.
WILL MY SNORING LEAD TO OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMS?
Snoring isn’t normally harmful to the person who snores but it can be a symptom of significant sleep-disordered breathing or commonly known as obstructive sleep apnoea. Consistent Snoring can lead to long term sleep deprivation and fatigue.
