Lucas Dental offers Cerec, the world’s most advanced system for restorative dentistry. CEREC is a sophisticated CAD/CAM system used to fabricate all-ceramic inlays, onlays, partial crowns, veneers, and crowns for anterior and posterior teeth.

Cerec is used in our practice to replace old silver amalgam fillings which have failed, fractured, decayed, or simply because you don’t like how they look. For patients who want their metal fillings removed to remove any traces of heavy metal from their mouths, Cerec is the answer.

Thanks to the technology and science of modern dentistry, teeth can now be replaced with a dental implant that looks and feels like a natural tooth and is functionally strong and secure.

Dental implants are a post-like structure of between 8 to 12mm made of a biocompatible material like titanium which is surgically placed in the jawbone. Once integrated they can be built up with porcelain teeth.

Dental implants can not only be used to replace missing teeth but also used to stabilize ill-fitting dentures and replace all teeth in the mouth.

Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last molar teeth to grow in our mouths. Generally, because they are the last tooth, if there is not enough space in a person’s mouth, problems arise as the wisdom teeth are impacted.

Most commonly these teeth cause gum infections, cysts, decay/cavities to neighboring teeth, food trapping, and ulcers. As there is no room for them at the back, they often push forward causing crowding. Removal of just the offending tooth may be proposed, or removal of all of them.
