Dr Anna Kanter is the principal dentist and owner of OceanView Dental. A local Adelaide graduate, Dr Kanter has had experience working both in the public sector as well as in numerous private clinics within Adelaide and regional Victoria.

OceanView Dental was started with the desire and commitment to bring the very best of patient care to the Lefevre Peninsula. We are able to provide general and preventative treatment, smile makeovers and reconstruction procedures as well as any emergency treatment required.

At OceanView Dental we take great pride in minimising our environmental footprint, ensuring that we provide dentistry for generations.  At OceanView Dental we have a safe mercury waste disposal system that prevents mercury from entering our waterways and causing environmental harm. We also offer our patients the option of emailing all invoices and receipts to reduce printing on paper. Our staff also minimise the use of electricity during and after work hours where possible.

Your first visit

“We want to welcome you to our friendly and caring practice”

At OceanView Dental Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know you, for you to get to know us  and for us to  discuss your needs and wants for your dental health.

During the initial visit, our dentist will discuss any medical conditions that may impact on your dental health.

They will then proceed to perform a comprehensive examination including an oral cancer screening, jaw joint assessment, analysis of your gums, an examination of your bite and lastly an assessment of your teeth. Often xrays and photographs will be taken to provide the most thorough diagnosis. The findings and diagnosis will be discussed and any questions answered.

If treatment is required, a tailored treatment plan will be designed and full disclosure of fees will be given. We also accept new patients for emergency treatments. If you have a broken tooth or toothache please contact our clinic. In most cases we can fit you in that same day.
