i.Dental was founded in 1989 with the vision of designing smiles and defining confidence for people. In the 30 years since, our team of dentists and dental hygienists, led by founder and principal surgeon Dr. Cheng Eng Wah, have dedicated themselves to creating happy, healthy and beautiful smiles.

As a full, integrated dental care provider, we offer comprehensive solutions from general to aesthetic dentistry to help our patients achieve their ideal smile. With our patients’ trust and support, we have grown from a single clinic in Ubi to four locations island-wide, including an Invisalign Dedicated Clinic – We were appointed as Invisalign Dedicated Clinic in Singapore in 2014 and we take pride in being recognized by Align Technology, the US-based makers of Invisalign.

Keeping Smiles Affordable

Everyone deserves a great smile. In addition to offering financing and instalment plans, we also support these insurance schemes and subsidies.

Our Technology
Equipped with technology for care and comfort

Times have changed and so has dental technology. We believe in investing in medically proven technologies to complement our dentists’ expertise and deliver high quality care and comfort to you. The use of technology, from scanning and diagnosis to treatment, is a value-added service to our patients, so you enjoy a better dental experience without incurring additional costs.

Laser Technology

A multi-functional laser machine suitable for practically all laser-assisted dental treatments.

  • Minimal pain and discomfort

  • No unnerving whining sound

  • No downtime and faster healing

  • Quicker and more precise treatments

  • Close to zero chances of an infection

Scan Technology
iTero 2 Element Intraoral Scanner

Thanks to our status as an Invisalign Dedicated Clinic, we have priority access to Invisalign technology upgrades and software updates. In 2018, we were one of the earliest to receive the iTero 2 Element Intraoral Scanner – the second-generation digital impression system that eliminates the need for messy putty in your mouth. Not only is a digital impression more comfortable, it’s also much more accurate.

With iTero 2 Element Scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your teeth and gums. Once the scan is complete, your dentist will then have a 3D model of your mouth that can be used with all Invisalign® services, including the Invisalign Outcome Simulator to show you what your new smile might look like.

Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT)

We are proud to be among the first few clinics to invest in the award-winning Planmeca CBCT, a high-quality x-ray system that provides a high clarity, HD vision of the patient’s dental, facial and skeletal profile in a 360° view in an ‘all-in-one’ capture exposure using the lowest dosage of radiation available. Within seconds, the CBCT captures and transfers x-ray images so that patients and dentists can simultaneously view the x-ray images and reduce exposure time and the risk of retakes.

This seamless integration and connectivity from the point of diagnosis to the point of delivery conveniently shortens much time needed to be spent in the clinic. Image quality is also optimised due to the minimisation of image distortion common to most other scanning cephalometric technologies.

Diagnosis Technology
Intra-oral Camera

To facilitate better visualisation of dental problems, we use the intra-oral camera — a small probe-like camera that is moved around the inside of patients’ mouth. Captured images are then transferred over to a computer screen in the treatment room for viewing.

This painless, no-radiation technique allows anyone to see and understand their surface dental problems such as worn-out or defective fillings, fractured teeth, decay, bleeding gums.

Dental Microscope

We also adopt the use of microscope in performing dental treatments. With up to 20 times optical magnification, our dentists can now detect even the most obscured of all problems as well as provide treatments with the precision and accuracy. What dentists see through the microscope can be linked to a monitor enabling patients to see and better understand their dental conditions and the treatments being carried out.

Microscope use has significantly reduced uncertainties in dentistry, but more importantly has allowed us to treat patients’ conditions previously deemed to be impossible. Almost all dental procedures can benefit from using a microscope.

Treatment Technology
X-Smart Plus

We use X-Smart Plus, the simpler, safer and faster way to successfully prepare root canals, even those with difficult anatomies, while complying with the highest quality dental requirements and producing optimum results.

Apex Locator

Successful root canal therapy requires accurate location of the apical foramen. We use an apex locator in conjunction with radiography, in many cases, as an additional measure to ensure proper determination of canal length.

Protaper

The revolutionary Protaper system that provides greater safety and efficiency in root canal preparation and procedures. Protaper rotary files are designed to instrument difficult, highly calcified and severely curved root canals.
